  • Add your postback URL.

Note: All the parameters that you add will be appended in the postback URL.

Basic Information

Note: Once the same has been set up and your account has been approved, get in touch with the Advertiser to approve you and assign apps for promotions.

  • Once you have the postback, you will get a "Test Postback" button. Click on it and see if you have received the postback. In case you did your account will be auto-approved. If you didn't receive any postback and therefore click on "No" you would be required to add your postback correctly.

Adding Region wise Postback

Apptrove offers support for setting up postbacks for multiple regions. This allows you to send region-specific data to different endpoints based on where the event is triggered.

Note: You cannot add a new postback while the current postback status is set as Active. You will need to deactivate the existing postback first.

To add postbacks for different domains by region:

Postback Configuration

  1. Go to ... > Postback Configuration in the Apptrove dashboard.

  2. Click the Add Postback button.

  3. In the postback setup window, choose the Country from the dropdown menu.

    iOS Postback

  4. Enter the postback URL and map the relevant Parameters and Macros.

    Enable Postback

  5. Enable the Postback and click Finish.

The postback will now be populated in the postback configuration. You can follow the same steps to create postbacks for multiple regions.

How Postback Priority Works

When an event occurs, Apptrove determines which postback to trigger using the following priority logic:

iOS Postback

  1. Regional iOS Postback: If the user is on an iOS device and there’s a region-specific iOS postback configured, it takes top priority.

  2. Regional General Postback: If there is no iOS-specific postback, Apptrove looks for a general postback set up for the region.

  3. Global iOS Postback: If neither regional option exists, the platform checks for a global postback specific to iOS.

  4. Global General Postback: As a final fallback, Apptrove will trigger the global postback with no OS or region specificity.

Report and Dashboard

  • The dashboard section will give you information about important metrics such as installs, revenue, impressions etc. You can see data coming via geographical locations and view trends for clicks and installs

    Dashboard

  • The daily report will show the stats of daily traffic of clicks, impressions, installs etc. The event report will show all information about the in-app events triggered via your promotional campaigns for the advertiser. There are other reports as well such as uninstall, retention and fraud but that will be visible to a partner only when the app owner has given them permission to view the same.

    Reports
  • Logs are the raw data for all the incoming traffic. Partner can see click, event, install and postback logs
