Partner Account Status and Activation Flow in Apptrove

At a Glance: Understand how a partner account progresses through different statuses on Apptrove, from initial registration to full activation. Learn when and how to test postbacks and retrieve your Partner ID for advertiser integrations.


Introduction

Partner accounts in Apptrove follow a structured onboarding flow, ensuring that the required configurations and validations are completed before the account becomes fully operational. This helps maintain integration consistency and ensures proper tracking setup before partners begin working with advertisers. Partner Account Statuses

1. Pending

  • This is the default status once a partner begins the registration process.

  • At this stage, the partner has not yet verified their email and completed the Profile.

2. Approval Pending

  • Once the partner logs in and updates all mandatory details, the account status changes to Approval Pending.

  • In this phase, the partner can:

    • Request access to a demo application.

    • Configure the Postback URL.

    • Access the Postback Test option.

Note: The ability to test postbacks is only available while the account is in the Approval Pending status.


3. Active

  • Upon successful completion of the postback test, the partner account is marked as Active.

  • The account is now ready for integration with advertisers.

Note: You can only configure and edit the postback within 15 days of the account creation.

Next Steps After Activation

  • You can now share your Company Name or Partner ID (PID) with advertisers to begin integration.

  • To find your PID:

    1. Click on your Profile in the top right corner of your dashboard.

    2. Navigate to the Company tab.

    3. Your PID will be visible under your Profile picture.

Key Reminders

  • Complete all registration steps to move from Pending to Approval Pending.

  • Always test your postback before requesting full activation.

  • Use the Company name or the PID in your tracking links when communicating with advertisers for smooth integration.
