Retention Report

Updated over 2 weeks ago

At a Glance: This article helps app owners understand the retention rate of the users based on the usage of the application.

Overview

Retention analysis is a crucial metric that helps you measure how many users continue to use your app after their first visit. It gives you a clear picture of user engagement and loyalty over time. By tracking retention, you can identify how well your app keeps users interested and what improvements might increase long-term usage.

A strong retention rate often signals that your app provides value to users, encouraging them to return. Low retention could indicate issues such as poor user experience or lack of useful features. Retention analysis helps you make data-driven decisions to improve your app and retain more users.

Why Retention Analysis Matters:

You can easily access retention data from your Apptrove panel without any coding or complex setups.

  • Improve user experience by identifying drop-off points

  • Increase revenue by retaining more active users

  • Optimize marketing efforts based on where users stay engaged

  • Identify loyal user segments for personalized campaigns

Note: The data represented in the blue-colored cell determines the rate of retention. The higher the retention rate, the darker will be the color.

Steps to Access the Retention Report in Apptrove

  1. Login to your Apptrove panel.

  2. Navigate to your app’s Dashboard.

  3. From the left Sidebar, select the Retention Report under the "Reports" section.

  4. Locate and click on the Retention Report option to view your data.
