The LinkedIn Ads Integration in Apptrove allows you to seamlessly track and measure campaign performance using UniLink. By linking your LinkedIn campaigns through UniLink, you can attribute install and conversion data accurately. This helps you analyze performance, optimize targeting, and manage all LinkedIn campaign insights directly within Apptrove.

Overview

The LinkedIn Ads Integration in Apptrove enables advertisers to run and track campaigns seamlessly using UniLink.
This integration helps you monitor clicks, impressions, and installs from LinkedIn, allowing for accurate attribution and performance insights — all within the Apptrove panel.

By placing your UniLink in the Destination URL field of your LinkedIn Ads, you can automatically track campaign performance, user engagement, and conversions in real time.

Steps to Integrate LinkedIn Ads with Apptrove

Step 1: Create a UniLink

  1. Go to UniLink Management in your Apptrove panel.

  2. Add a new template and create new Unilink as per your need.

  3. Save the link once configured.

Step 2: Add the UniLink to LinkedIn Ads

  1. Log in to your LinkedIn Campaign Manager.

  2. Create or edit a campaign.

  3. In the Destination URL field, paste your Apptrove UniLink, set the call to action to Download, and complete the setup.

Step 3: Verify Tracking

  • Once your campaign is live, monitor the performance on the Apptrove Dashboard.

  • Check that clicks, impressions, and installs are being recorded under Partner: LinkedIn using the filter.

Unilink as a product URL

You’ll need to enter the UniLink in the Product URL field as well. When you do, the interface may display an error — this is expected since LinkedIn typically requires an app store URL in that field. You can safely ignore the error and proceed with launching your campaign.

Points to Note

  • Install Data Only: The LinkedIn integration currently supports tracking install data only. Event tracking and attribution are not yet available. We’ll update this article once event tracking is supported.

  • Partner Directory Visibility: LinkedIn does not appear as a partner in the Partner Directory. However, since LinkedIn passes values through the URL, install attribution is still possible via UniLink.
