UniLink allows you to create a single link that directs users to the appropriate destination based on their device, app status, or platform. This destination can be a social media page, website URL, app store listing, or registration page.
How UniLink Works on Apptrove
Apptrove Unilink is a single smart link that routes users to the right destination based on their device, platform, and app install status. It helps create a seamless user journey while also enabling campaign measurement, deep linking, and attribution across owned and paid media. Unified deep links commonly support both direct deep linking (for users who already have the app) and deferred deep linking (for users who install after clicking the link).
User Flow
When a user clicks a Unilink, Apptrove automatically checks the user’s environment and routes them accordingly:
If the app is already installed
The app opens instantly
The user is redirected to the specific in-app screen configured in the link
Example:
A user clicks a product promotion link and lands directly on that product page inside the app.
If the app is not installed
The user is redirected to the appropriate app store
After installation and first app launch, the same link data is passed to the app
The user lands on the intended in-app destination
This process is commonly known as deferred deep linking, where link context is preserved even after app installation. (AppsFlyer)

Creating a UniLink
A UniLink is the actual clickable link or scannable QR code displayed in your ads. During link creation, you can define the user journey and customize tracking parameters.
Where to find UniLink?
Inside your Trackier panel, you will have an option of "Unilink Management" under the Engagement section of the Dashboard.
Click on Create a Template to see the option to create templates for your application.
