Smart Banners
Updated over a month ago

At a Glance: This article focuses on how the user can create smart banners and convert their website visitors into mobile app users

Overview of Smart Banners

  • With the help of smart banners, users can ensure accurate web campaign-to-app mobile attribution. You can display the banners as part of the website and when someone clicks on that banner it will redirect you to either play/app store in case the application is not installed or to the desired location inside your application

  • There are 3 important KPIs related to the smart banner - Install, Click and Impression. When the banner is loaded it is counted as an impression, once the user clicks on that banner it is counted as a click and if that click leads to user installing the application then that is counted as an install

  • Let's take an example - You are running a business of goods and services delivery, and now you want to convert your website users to app mobile users, you would use the smart banners to do so. Smart banners are backed up by unilinks which means When mobile website visitors click the CTA button, it automatically directs them to the appropriate app store or landing page, where it's easy for them to install
