Overview

Customization is key when it comes to data analytics. Apptrove enables you to create dashboards that cater specifically to your needs, ensuring that you track the KPIs that matter most. Whether you want to monitor installs, revenue, or user behaviour trends, a custom dashboard gives you control over how you visualize and interpret your data.

With the ability to add widgets, apply filters, and arrange key metrics in a personalized layout, your dashboard can serve as a real-time monitoring hub, offering instant access to essential performance indicators.

How to create one?

  • Go to the custom dashboard on the sidebar and then click on the "Add Dashboard" button and give a name to your dashboard.

    Add Dashboard

  • You will have the option to create your widgets as per your requirements. You can add multiple widgets in a single dashboard.

  • To create the widget, you need to first choose the type of chart that you would want. It can be a pie chart, bar chart, table, map, etc.

  • After you select the type of chart you require, you need to name your widget along with the description.

  • Select a KPI that you want to see and the attribute by which you would want to group your data.

Grouping Data in Your Widget

The Group By feature helps you segment data for better insights and performance tracking. Below are the available options:

Group By

  • Date: View trends over time (daily, weekly, monthly) to track performance fluctuations.

  • Partner: Analyze performance by traffic sources or affiliates to identify top-performing partners.

  • Campaign: Compare different marketing campaigns to measure ROI and optimize budget allocation.

  • Ad Set: Break down campaign performance by ad sets to assess different audience segments.

  • Ad: Evaluate individual ads to test creatives, messaging, and formats for better engagement.

  • Country: Analyze regional performance to optimize targeting and localization efforts.

  • Site ID: Track specific websites or app placements to identify high-performing traffic sources.

Using the Group By feature helps you organize large datasets, spot trends, and make data-driven decisions efficiently.

KPI options description

Understanding KPIs is crucial for data-driven decision-making. The following KPIs provide insights into different aspects of your app’s performance:

  • Installs: The number of app installs that you received in a specific date range will be reflected.

    KPI

  • Clicks: The total number of clicks that you have received from your partner's end will reflect on the panel.

  • Impressions: The number of impressions (views) that you have received will be reflected.

  • Conversion rate: The percentage of clicks on a partner link that lead to a successful conversion, such as an app install. This metric is crucial for partners and advertisers, as it directly reflects the effectiveness of their marketing efforts.

  • Cost: The total cost of the app within a specific date range will be reflected on the panel.

  • Revenue: Total revenue generated from your app will be reflected by selecting this as KPI.

  • Uninstalls: Selecting this as KPI will reflect your app uninstalls by the user.

  • In-app events: Your total in-app events within a specific date range will be reflected if you select this as a KPI.

  • Fraudulent Installs: Total number of fraudulent installs that you received within a specific date range.

  • Fraudulent events: Total number of fraudulent events that you received within a specific date range.

  • Session: Consider the definition of a "session" as the period of time in which an individual engages with a digital application. In practical terms, this means that when one launches an application and utilizes it for a designated period of 20 minutes before closing it, the subsequent 20-minute window upon reloading would constitute another session.

  • ROI: Return on investment from a specific app from a campaign will be reflected while selecting this as KPI.

  • Unique Events: Tracks distinct user actions within the app, helping you measure engagement beyond traditional metrics.

  • You can add different filters to sort out your data. It can be campaigns, countries, partners, channels, or if you wish to hide organic data.

  • After adding all necessary widgets, you can adjust their layout. Resize widgets, move them around and organize them to create a dashboard that best suits your needs.
