Overview

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is an added security layer that protects your Apptrove account. In addition to your password, you’ll be required to enter a verification code from an authenticator app, ensuring stronger account protection.

Why Enable 2FA?

  • Strengthens account security

  • Protects sensitive campaign and reporting data

  • Prevents unauthorized access

Steps to Enable 2FA in Apptrove

Step 1: Login to your Apptrove account

  • Go to Apptrove Dashboard and sign in with your credentials.

  • Navigate to Profile → Change Password.

Step 2: Enable Two-Factor Authentication

  • In the Change Password section, toggle the Two-Factor Authentication option ON.

Step 3: Download an Authenticator App

  • If you don’t already have one, install Google Authenticator from your app store.

Step 4: Scan the QR Code

  • Open your authenticator app and scan the QR code displayed on the screen.

Step 5: Enter the OTP

  • Your app will generate a 6-digit code. Enter it into the verification field in Apptrove.

Step 6: Done!

  • 2FA is now active. From the next login onwards, you’ll be asked to provide both your password and the one-time code from your authenticator app.
