Overview
Apptrove supports Single Sign-On (SSO) with Okta, allowing users to authenticate with their existing corporate credentials rather than a separate Apptrove password.
Once configured, all users within your organization can access Apptrove through your dedicated SSO login page.
Add the application on the OKTA dashboard
Before configuring SSO on Apptrove, you'll have to add Apptrove as an application in your Okta IDP. Please refer to this article for reference on the same.
Create a new application in your Identity Provider
Configure SSO on Apptrove
Note: If the SSO Settings tab is not visible in your account, please contact your Account Manager to have the feature enabled for your organization.
Inside an application dashboard, navigate to:
Settings → SSO Settings
Step 1: Enable SSO
Turn on the Enable SSO for this organisation toggle.
Step 2: Select the Identity Provider
From the Identity Provider dropdown, select Okta.
Step 3: Enter Okta Credentials
Provide the following details from your Okta application:
Issuer URL
Client ID
Client Secret
Step 4: Paste the Redirect URI on Okta
Copy the Sign-in Redirect URI present in this field and add it as the Redirect URI (Callback URI) in your Okta dashboard.
This URL allows Okta to redirect authenticated users back to Apptrove after a successful login.
Step 5: The Initial Login URI
Once the setup is complete, this URL becomes your organization's dedicated Apptrove SSO login page, allowing advertisers and team members to sign in using their Okta credentials.
Signing in with SSO
Once SSO has been configured successfully, advertisers and team members can log in to Apptrove using their organization's Okta credentials.
Step 1: Open the Login Page
Navigate to the Apptrove login page and click Sign in with SSO.
Step 2: Enter Your Work Email
Enter your registered work email address and click Continue. Apptrove identifies your organization and redirects you to the configured Okta login page.
Step 3: Authenticate with Okta
Sign in using your organization's Okta credentials. Once authentication is successful, you will be redirected back to Apptrove and logged in automatically.
Notes
SSO is currently supported with Okta.
Ensure the Issuer URL, Client ID, and Client Secret are copied correctly from your Okta application.
The Sign-in Redirect URI is generated automatically by Apptrove and must be configured in Okta.
