Session Management helps improve account security by allowing administrators to limit concurrent logins and automatically log out inactive users.
Overview
The Session Management page allows administrators to:
Limit the number of concurrent sessions per user.
Configure automatic logout after a period of inactivity.
View active and inactive user sessions.
Terminate individual or all user sessions when required.
Accessing Session Management
Log in to your Apptrove account.
Go to My Account.
Open the Session Management tab.
Limit Multiple Sessions
Enable Limit Multiple Sessions to control how many active sessions a user can have at the same time.
Enable the toggle.
Enter the maximum number of concurrent sessions allowed.
Save the settings.
For example, if the limit is set to 2, a user can only remain logged in on two devices or browsers simultaneously.
Idle Session Timeout
Enable Idle Session Timeout to automatically log out users after a period of inactivity.
Enable the toggle.
Enter the timeout duration.
Select the time unit:
Minutes
Hours
Days
Save the settings.
Once the configured inactivity period is reached, users will be required to log in again.
Managing User Sessions
The session list displays information such as:
User Name
Role
Login IP
Login City
Session Status
Login Time
Administrators can:
Logout a specific session using the Logout button.
Terminate All Sessions to immediately log out all active users.
Note:
Users whose sessions are terminated will need to authenticate again to access the platform.
